Frequently Asked Questions
-
Collaborative, honest, warm, and practical.
Everything is built around your family, not a one-size-fits-all program.
I bring 10+ years of hands-on dementia care experience, but I try to keep sessions feeling real, not clinical. My goal is for you to leave with usable ideas, not homework, and to feel a little less alone and a little more connected to the person you love.
-
That's completely normal. Reach out and we'll talk through your situation together and figure out what makes sense.
-
Family caregivers at any stage, whether you just received a diagnosis, you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or you simply want more ideas for connecting with your loved one day to day.
-
No. I'm not a doctor, nurse, or therapist, and I don't provide medical or clinical care. My background is in dementia programming, activity engagement, and caregiver support. If you need medical guidance, I'm happy to help you think through who to ask.
-

-
All of it. Sessions and plans are personalized to where your loved one is right now, whatever stage that is.
-
My focus is on individual families, not facilities. Everything is built around your specific situation, not a group program.
Facilities who would like Dementia communications, support group facilitation, or other trainings or workshops may contact me, however.
-
I'm based in the DMV area and offer both in-home visits and virtual sessions, depending on the service.
