Caregiver & Family Coaching Sessions

from $60.00

Not sure how to navigate a particular situation with your loved one? You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Whether you’re preparing for a holiday, family gathering, birthday, vacation, or another important event—or simply facing a challenge you’re not sure how to handle—we can work through it together.

Individual coaching sessions provide a supportive space to talk through the emotional and practical challenges of caring for and staying connected with a loved one experiencing dementia or other cognitive changes.

Sessions can help you:

  • Prepare for holidays, celebrations, and special events in ways that are meaningful and comfortable for your loved one

  • Find ways to include your loved one in family activities while adapting expectations to their current abilities and interests

  • Talk through a specific behavior, situation, or caregiving challenge that has you feeling stuck

  • Brainstorm ways to make everyday activities less frustrating and more enjoyable

  • Navigate difficult moments, changes in relationships, or the emotional ups and downs of caregiving

  • Find ways to maintain connection, dignity, and a sense of purpose

  • Think through practical approaches to communication, routines, activities, and family dynamics

  • Plan meaningful activities and experiences based on your loved one’s interests, abilities, and history

  • Talk through an upcoming transition or difficult decision and identify practical next steps

  • Simply have a place to ask questions, talk things out, and get an outside perspective

Sometimes you don’t need a long-term program—you just need someone who understands the situation and can help you figure out what to do next.

Sessions are personalized to your family and the situation you’re facing. Come with one specific question or a whole list of things you’re struggling with. We’ll focus on what would be most helpful to you right now.

You'll leave with:

  • A clearer sense of how to approach the specific situation you came in with

  • Practical ideas you can use right away, tailored to your loved one and your family

  • A better sense of what to expect, so you feel less caught off guard next time

  • Reassurance that you don’t have to figure this out alone

  • A one page summary of the session and tips for moving forward.
